The Church triumphant is glorious. It
offers a state of preparation for all to enjoy. It's a blessed and
glorious company of Christians that celebrate sacredness. Our Church
offers innumerable blessings to its followers. These believers will
come to know and experience what dwelling in the Creator's presence
really mean. Many of these are saints in glory who experience God's
exceeding greatness, and fruits of grace. To them, the fire of
Pentecost still burns brightly with an unending religious awakening.
This awakening is the expression of a true biblical spirit in a
person's spiritual life.
St. Basil (330 – 379 AD), bishop of
Caesarea, a leading churchman of the 4th century, who
observed, “A tree is known by its fruit; a man by his deeds. A
good deed is never lost; he who sows courtesy reaps friendship, and
he who plants kindness gathers love.” During fellowship at church
believers interact and touch each other hearts and minds, giving wings
to love as St. Basil described.
Heavenly Inhabitants
Angles are blessed spirits and are a
crucial part of the universal Church. As believers we become
rejuvenated when we rest on the Sabbath from our labors. We seek
spiritual companionship not only on Sundays when we worship at
Church, but throughout the week when we serve our fellowmen. In so
doing, we show to the world a steadfast spirit as evangelists of the
faith. Being heavenly inhabitants we are blessed with the spirit of
harmony. Jim Sturgess (b. 1978), and English actor and song-writer
felt, “Love is such a powerful subject matter because it comes in
so many different shapes and sizes. It's about timing, fate,
failure, redemption.” He was sharing with us the
multidimensional nature of love that all are free to have through our
Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. This kind of love is able to radically
transform a person's life.
Praising God
As a central form of worship Christians
are always praising God for his benevolence and merciful ways. He's
known for His glorious works which dominate our lives and the
environment in which we live. They praise His goodness to mankind,
and with a contemplative spirit, give thanks for their many
blessings. Being anointed in the spirit, with a generous, and willing
spirit, words of praise flow forth from their mouths. These words are
expressions of how they feel in their hearts about loving God.
Their spiritual experiences are lofty and they might as well be
coming from angels who perpetually praise God.
Charles E. Wilson (1890 – 1961), the
tenth president of General Motors explained, “For more than 150
years free men in our countries have had the opportunities to educate
themselves, choose their own religions, select their own occupations,
accumulate capital and invent better ways of doing things.” What a
better way it'll be if we turn to God in asking His guidance for the
occupation we choose, and the lives we lead. Undoubtedly, this will
be a better way of living and doing things.
Pure Holiness
Visions of pure holiness are
spectacular. To our beings, they are lovely and give a heart an
exalted feeling. This is when a person touches the sun of
righteousness which is infinitely pure, lovely, and beautiful.
Here, a person is blessed with spiritual mercies, and food for an
enlightened spirituality. Once he or she is fed with such food, he
or she becomes enlivened and blessed with a true spirit of an
apostle.
Suze Orman (b. 1951), an American
author, financial adviser, motivational speaker, and TV host said,
“True generosity is an offering; give freely and out of pure love.
No string attached. No expectations. Time and love are the most
valuable possessions you can share.” It's all about time and love
in the triumphant Church. It's for us to pursue ways to change the
lives of people. It's for us to set in trail a motion of goodness, kindness, and caring that impact lives for the better.
Just like Orman points out, we must use our time and love
wisely, for they are precious commodities meant for service to
mankind.
